VULNERABILITY
I resonate so much with yoga practices that invite me to be more vulnerable. To ease into discomfort…..to let it just be there…to allow…..to sit with it. It’s definitely NOT easy. Especially in this day and age when we are encouraged to run from things, to hide from hard things, to put them off. This doesn’t make it easier, it only makes it worse in the long game. I learned of a quote that inspires me: “Strong back, soft front, wild heart.” Berne Brown. Now here is my heroine on vulnerability teaching. I saw God in my yoga practice as I felt vulnerable with my feelings deep in my soul. Acknowledging that they are there, without trying to change them or judge them. He helped me to allow.
