COLORS

 I saw God in my day today as He led me to the name of my favourite color. Ice Blue. I was attending a professional hockey game where the Seattle Kracken were playing. They were wearing my favourite color on their jerseys. It’s a fine line of blue with a slight tint of green. I also love the Shadow Blue.

 This color brings so much joy to my soul. These two colors I find most frequently in the ocean, also another one of my favorites. It reminds me so much of happy memories, going to the beach, the pool, of fun times in the summer with my family.

It’s calming affect is palpable. I have been so interested in color meanings and relation in Yoga to the Chakras or energy centers within the body. Chakra means “wheel.” 

Colors you are drawn to can reflect your personality. 

Red: Passion, energy, determination, action

Orange: Energy, enthusiasm, sociability 

Yellow: Optimism, joy, intellect, happiness, warmth

Green: Nature, growth, balance, freshness, self-reliance 

Blue: Trust, peace, loyalty, calm, reliability 

Purple: Creativity, imagination, nobility, spirituality 

Pink: Love, softness, playfulness, nurturing 

White: Purity, simplicity, peace, logic, virtue

Black: Elegance, sophistication, strength, mystery
