STORY
I saw God today by realizing that each of us has a story. Some of us want to hide or run from our story. I understand that, I’ve been there. But “shame dies when stories are told in safe places.” -Ann Voskamp. The divine practice of yoga has taught me that we have the power to rewrite our stories. Isn’t this concept amazing?! Although you cannot always control what happens to you or around you, you can control your thoughts & response. You always have the power to change that, you always have the option to choose more positive supporting thoughts. How do we change, you might inquire? Through the incredible gift of repentance. Made available to all of God’s children through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. The greatest event in all of history, that transcends all time. Through His power you are able to change in ways you cannot imagine. This gift is available to all. All we have to do is receive His gift. I know these things to be true, for I have tried them over and over. God is constantly changing and growing my heart. I am humbled to ponder on the Atonement of Jesus Christ. My soul is in awe that He would do that for me. That He gives this gift freely to me, because He loves me unconditionally. He will never stop reaching out to me. I am never beyond His reach or will exhaust His patience. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
