STRESS
Here’s another quote that has helped shift my perspective: “It is said that the formula for reducing stress is found in two simple steps: step one, don’t sweat the small stuff. Step two: remember, it’s all small stuff.”
I have been more and more intrigued with stress, how it is caused, what effects is has on my body and soul. How to reduce stress. Stress is actually a great thing. Stress causes us to grow. But too much stress can have negative effects. So I resonate with the aforementioned quote as it helps me to lift my thoughts higher. To think celestial. All things in the world are temporary. I want to focus my perspective on eternal things. It applies to my yoga practice too. I often find myself being too serious, trying so hard to fit in to the proper mold that I think I need to be in as a student of yoga. When I soften a bit and remember that it’s all small stuff I have so much fun! I enjoy yoga even more. (didn’t think that was possible huh?) This is how I have seen God in my yoga practice today.
