MINDSET
If you can’t tell already I love good things. So here’s another goodie for you ”A man is what he thinks about all day long.” Ralph Waldo Emerson. What do you want to be? Who do you want to be? To what or who will you give your life to? Yoga has enhanced my mindset, mindfulness & gratitude. It has helped me to grow and evolve by elevating my thoughts. One of the first things I learned of during my Yoga Teacher Training was about our ego. That our ego creates stories from our experiences. But we get to choose which stories we keep and we get to write the stories. I listened to a lot of those stories when I was younger, I felt so much confusion and heartache about trying to fit in in social situations. Lots of anxiety and sorrow yoga has taught me that my ego was writing those stories and I can change those stories. I am the authoress of my own story. I alone allow what to keep and what to leave behind. This is how I saw God in my yoga practice today.
